You seem like a pretty sharp guy, Greg, so I’m not going to try to bullshit you. The following applies to all kinds of products on-line, not just pheromone cologne and perfume review websites.

Almost all review sites will be affiliate sites – that is, when you click on the product link, the review site sends you to another site where you actually purchase the product. The pheromones review site gets a commission when a visitor they send to the “sales site” makes a purchase. The cost to you, the consumer, is the same as if you went to the sales site directly.

It isn’t much, usually 10-20% on sales made for a limited amount of time – say 3 months. One way to tell an affiliate site is to look at the product link. If the link has things like “?ref=2012” or “?aff=2014” it will usually be an affiliate link. But, there are ways to “mask” these links, so you can’t always tell.

My pheromones review site is an affiliate site and I make about enough from it each day for lunch money. I do hope to get it to the car payment level one day. I can’t tell you how many hours of work have gone into it, I probably would have made more money for my time by flipping burgers. Gotta say, I do love the work!

Having said that, does that mean that an affiliate site is a “hired gun”. Not necessarily. Think of it more like a retail store or an outside sales channel for the “sales site” that is actually selling the product. The affiliate puts in time and effort to reach consumers like you, and are rewarded for their effort with a commission. The vendor gets customers they wouldn’t ordinarily get and, if they provide good products and services, they get to make sales to the visitor for a long time to come.

Like any retail store with salespeople, some pheromone review sites sell whatever they have on the shelf or can make the most money on. Their philosophy is “I’ll tell people this product is good so I can sell it to them”. My philosophy is “I think this is a really good product, so I will try to sell it to people.” I would not be putting my ugly mug out there in those videos any other way. You just have to decide who you can trust.

As to which is the “best pheromone cologne”, results will vary because of individual body chemistry, but not too much. Based on my personal experiences and surveys I have set up on other sites, Chikara is far and away the “best pheromone cologne”, and Alpha 7 (unscented) comes in second. I have used them both individually and at the same time with outstanding results. Pherlure and 10X may have huge advertising budgets, but neither did anything for me.
